Jim Henson: A Man and His Frog profiles Jim Henson and his most famous puppet. Photographs of Jim and the world’s most famous frog, dating back to their early days with Sam and Friends, accompany a magnificent photo puppet of Kermit the Frog and a special portrait of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy as Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara. Jim Henson: A Man and His Frog inaugurates a series of preview exhibitions leading to the proposed Jim Henson Wing of the Center for Puppetry Arts.
Highlighting some of the performance and design contributions Jim Henson and his collaborators have made to the world of puppetry, this exhibit features the technological advances behind Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth and more.
