They continued topping the charts through the ‘80s & ’90s w/ huge hits “These Dreams,” “Alone,” “What About Love,” & a string of other hits showcasing their enormous talent as musicians & singers. Heart sold more than 30 million records, had 21 top 40 hits & had a profound influence on rock music.

This year the MOWAA Membership will convene in Atlanta, GA for three days of learning, sharing ideas and best practices. The Conference is not only an opportunity for attendees to network with peers and learn from experts, but also to renew their focus and view senior hunger from a national perspective.

The Conference opens at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, August 31st and concludes with a Closing Reception on Thursday evening, September 2nd. Pre-Conference we will offer a course on Emergency Preparedness for Meals On Wheels Program Professionals, as well as a field trip to a local MOW program.

The 2010 MOWAA Annual Conference will incorporate courses for the National Center for Nutrition Leadership. Conference attendees will be able to choose sessions and earn credits toward a Center certificate in one of the five sections: Leadership, Nutrition, Communications, Development, and Volunteer Management.

The Aaron’s International Soccer Challenge will be held July 28 at the Georgia Dome featuring Mexico’s Club de Futbol America (Club America) versus the Barclays English Premier League’s Manchester City.

The inaugural Aaron’s International Soccer Challenge celebrates the second year of top international professional soccer in Atlanta. Club America defeated AC Milan 2-1 last summer at the Georgia Dome. Club America will serve as the home team versus Manchester City.
